• He was heading the Liver Transplant Unit at KMCH, Coimbatore, which is the only successful Transplant Unit outside Chennai. KMCH is a 750-bedded multi speciality Tertiary referral centre in Western Tamil Nadu. Within a short span we had completed close to 100 transplants with a success rates of over 87%. Complex Hepato Pancreatic Biliary have also been performed in high numbers.
• He has been a Senior Consultant in one of largest Liver units in the country - Global Hospitals.
• His training is predominantly from the United Kingdom, trained from very prestigious and busy transplant units Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham and The Royal Free Hospital, London.
• His living donor Liver transplant training was from The Asan Medical centre, Seoul Korea, which performs over 350 transplants a year.
• He has been involved in over 750 transplants and multiple complex Hepato Biliary Surgery till date.
